Founded in 2001, Zhengzhou Hongsam Digital Science and Technology Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise focusing on the R&D, production and sales of inkjet inks, and a Public Listed Company in National Equities Exchange and Quotations (Stock Code: 430616). Since establishment, Hongsam has been committed to the research, development and application promotion of digital inkjet technology, developing and producing functional and environmentally friendly inkjet inks that adapt to the progress of digital inkjet technology, and providing customers with integrated solutions and service for digital inkjet printing. Hongsam inks are mainly used in textiles, imaging, artwork reproduction, home decoration, digital printing, advertising, OA office and other industries.

  • In January, Hongsam High Temperature Disperse Ink passed the test by Ricoh.
2022
  • In April, Hongsam Digital was identified as the "Henan Inkjet Material Engineering Research Center".
  • In July, Hongsam Digital launched the "Water-based Environmental Protection Latex Printing Solution" and exhibited it at the Guangzhou Exhibition, which attracted a lot of customers.
  • In July, Hongsam Digital high-temperature direct printing disperse ink was installed and used in the first Single Pass in China.
  • In October, the JETTEXTILE® Textile Pigment Inks developed by Hongsam Digital won the silver award of Excellent Patent in the 2022 China Textile Industry Federation.
2021

Scientific Structure of R&D Team
Hongsam R&D Center is a two-level innovative R&D system composed of R&D Center and Business Department. The main function of the Business Department is to learn the development trend and advanced technologies of the industry, plan the direction of product development, and propose product requirements for the R&D Center. The R&D Center is mainly responsible for customized research and development of products. The two-level R&D system helps to carry out R&D work efficiently and orderly, and promote R&D innovation. At the same time, Hongsam Digital established a R&D model that combines independent R&D and company-university R&D, Which focused on not only independent innovation but also cooperation with relevant scientific research institutions. In 2022, Hongsam Digital was recognized as the "Henan Inkjet Material Engineering Research Center" by Henan Provincial Development and Reform Commission.

Professional R&D Conditions
Hongsam Digital has 16 R&D laboratories and environmental testing rooms, and more than 560 test printers. We use liquid chromatography, ion chromatography and other instruments to test the composition and purity of raw materials; use laser particle size analyzer to analyze the particle shape and distribution in ink; use nano-grinding technology to grind ink particles to normal nano-distribution; use ink droplet viewer to monitor the performance and rules of inks on the printhead of printer; use X-rite color density meter to comprehensively analyze the relationship between ink, media and color, so as to ensure that the ink is effectively guaranteed in terms of raw materials, research and development, production and comprehensive performance. The strong hardware strength of Hongsam Digital meets the requirements of continuous and innovative producing process, and provides a guarantee for Hongsam to maintain its technological advantages.

Rich Technical Reserve
Hongsam Digital insists on independent innovation and vigorously develops core technologies with independent intellectual property rights. After years of development,Hongsam Digital currently has 15 patents, including 10 invention patents. Hongsam Digital has led and participated in formulation of 9 national and industry standards, and 8 of them have been promulgated and implemented. The "Limits of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) Content in Ink" formulated by Hongsam Digital has been implemented by force by the national environmental protection department. Part 1 of Textile Printing Inkjet Ink: Reactive Dye Inks, Part 2 of Textile Printing Inkjet Ink: Disperse Dye Inks, Part 3 of Textile Printing Inkjet Ink: Acid Dye Inks, and Part 4 of Textile Printing Inkjet Ink: Pigment Ink" cover a full range of inkjet products for digital printing. Hongsam Digital also led and participated in formulation of 3 national industry standards, including "Usage Requirements and Inspection Methods of Inkjet Printing Ink", "Water-based Inkjet Ink", and "UV Curable Ink". The industry standard of "Latex Inkjet Ink" formulated by Hongsam Digital has been submitted for approval.

Hongsam Digital has established a complete process for new product development and design, accumulated a number of core technologies, and has strong technical application capabilities. After more than ten years of development, Hongsam products have been deeply and widely used in textile digital printing, digital imaging and artwork reproduction, digital printing, home decoration, building materials, advertising and other industries. Senior R&D Team
Hongsam R&D team consists of more than 80 experts, including a group of senior R&D experts and application technology experts and teams, with rich experience in R&D and inkjet applications. Hongsam core R&D team is led by retired professors and doctoral supervisors from Zhengzhou University, academic visitor of the University of New South Wales in Australia, senior academic visitor of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany, project leaders of China 863 Program, and project leaders of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. The team members are composed of experts and scholars from well-known universities and research institutes in China such as Jiangnan University, Donghua University, Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, Zhengzhou University, and China Textile Academy. The Business Department is composed of a number of expert technical personnel with more than 20 years of practical experience in the fields of traditional printing and dyeing, digital textile printing and digital printing.
