What Is the Full Digital No Powder DTF Printer?
The full digital no powder DTF all-in-one printer is an innovative fully digital heat transfer production equipment independently developed by HONGSAM. It addresses major pain points of traditional DTF heat transfer production—heavy dust from powder shaking, cumbersome process steps, and finished products that feel thick and stuffy. The machine brand is Hong-Jet®.
Traditional DTF heat transfer production requires multiple machines—"printer + powder shaker + dryer"—connected in sequence. The powderless DTF printer integrates pattern printing and hot-melt color fixation into a single machine, eliminating the entire powder application, shaking, recovery, and filtration process. This removes dust pollution at the source in the production workshop, while also reducing equipment floor space and lowering labor intensity and dust-protection costs for operators.
Hong-Jet® no powder DTF printer was officially launched in 2021 and upgraded to an integrated smart device in 2026. Backed by HONGSAM's more than 20 years of experience in inkjet ink R&D and digital printing equipment manufacturing, it is the benchmark solution in the green DTF track.
Hong-Jet No Powder DTF Printer vs. Traditional Powder-Shaking DTF Printer

Hong-Jet® Fully Digital DTF Printer
Traditional DTF Printer (Hot-Melt Powder Shaking Process)
Production Process
Print – Dry – Heat Press (3 steps)
Print – Powder Application – Powder Shaking – Hot-Melt Curing – Heat Press (5 steps)
Labor Requirement
Fully unattended operation possible
Manual powder refilling required at irregular intervals
Finished Product Clarity
CO ink is printed on demand through the printhead, producing sharp, crisp edges
Edges prone to powder adhesion and unclear definition, affected by ambient temperature/humidity and film quality
Print Hand Feel
Soft hand feel, close to DTG effect
Hand feel limited by TPU powder—stiff, with a plastic-like feel
Wearing Comfort of Finished Product
Breathability greatly improved compared to powder-shaking process
The printed area of the finished garment is stuffy and non-breathable, resulting in a very poor wearing experience
Finished Product Fastness
Slightly lower fastness compared to the powder process, but meets basic fastness requirements
Excellent fastness, as the pattern adheres to fabric through hot-melt powder
